More than just a deli.

Maison Chaplais began with a simple aim: uncomplicated, authentically sourced food. Twenty years on there are two of us in Cheltenham. Chaplais Deli in Tivoli, for cheese, charcuterie, bread and the pantry, and Chaplais Kitchen in Montpellier, our bistro café for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Made while you wait.

Breakfast baps with free-range eggs and smoked Cotswold bacon. Pancakes with maple syrup. Scones baked to order from Maurice's own recipe. Sandwiches filled at the counter. Have it in, out on the terrace, or grab it and go.

We know who made it.

We are driven by the passion and stories of the people who supply us: artisans connected to their own ingredients, and to the land and livestock behind them. Fine pastas, sauces, crackers, cordials, wines and condiments, chosen because they're good. Ask about anything on the counter.
